The Vortex is now even Lighter! New Beefy Mount!  Going to be an easy excellent night-flyer.
Wow !This kit is an easy to build plane. Good for flying in smaller areas. Responsive and an excellent fly! Made from white core Hobby Foam (I Like It).
Specs:

2 pushrods

1 Built in Battery plywood with Velcro strap
Suggested Electronics-(Not Included)
1- 1804-1806 Quad Motor
1- 12-20amp ESC
2- 9g Budget  Servos
2- Linkage Stoppers
1- 5×4.5 3 Blade Prop
Recommended Lipo:
1- 450 to 650 mAh 3S battery (not included)
Glue ..
Hot Glue or Foamtac works well
(also Foam Safe CA if you like, always use kicker with Foam Safe CA )
Paint; I used spray from Lowes , Just use light coats , it did no damage to the foam. Let it dry for 5 min and another light coat if needed .

 

Vortex foam Kit includes:

8 Laser cut foam pieces that fit perfectly and are painted and partially assembled
2 Control horns
2 Pushrods
2 Linkage stoppers
1 Plywood motor mount

Parts you will need to Fly this plane
18XX to 23XX, 22XX quad motor or equivalent and prop to match
ESC (20 amp) and a 500 mah 11,1v lipo
Foamtac Glue or Hot Glue
Receiver 4 or 6 channel {only 3 needed)
Transmitter(you need an Elevon Mixing Transmitter)

Vortex Kit

 

The Vortex is an amazing, stable, and Fun flyer now made of white waterproof foam for durability, and about the easiest plane you could ever build. I can build this ready to fly in about an Hour beginner should complete in an evening. Just 8 pieces to the whole plane..

The Vortex is now all EZbuild Plane Foam there are some differences in construction and is even easier to build now.

We have added a plywood mount for the battery with a Velcro strap for easy battery mounting and added nose strength. This is going to be a killer combat plane with the prop in slot and plywood in the nose !!

CG Balance is the front of the servos. 

Also when using a Quad motor use short screws , long screws will damage the armature and cause motor damage.
